GUIDE TO UPLOAD AND/OR ATTACH IMAGES

Dear user, this section offers a guide to help you to upload and/or attach the images you need to send us in order to apply for the international license online. As you already know you need three images: one picture of yourself, passport size, facing the camera and in color; one copy of your driver license, and a copy of your signature (please, write you name under the signature so it will not be posted upside down). To make all these images available online, there are different methods that you can choose from:

Digital Picture

You can take your picture using a digital camera. Simply face the camera, using a light color background, and take the photograph using the timer in you camera to automatically take the picture, or use a friend’s or a professional’s assistance. Please, make sure that there is enough lighting and that we can see your entire face. Then, use your camera’s software to import images from it and use whichever system you have available (Mac, Windows, etc) and its appropriate tools. As soon as you have the images in your computer, save them in a file to upload them in our website through the online form, or to attach them to an e-mail to us.

Scanner

This method is ideal for the image of your signature and for the copy of your license. If you already have a passport size picture, it is also the ideal method to send us this picture. For your signature, please, sign in a white piece of paper and place the paper in the scanner. Please, place your driver license in the scanner machine in a way that we can clearly see the expiration date. You can scan the three images at the same time, or one at a time. To import these images to your computer, simply use the import software of your scanner or a drawing program that has the capacity to open images (Photoshop, Photopaint, etc) and, if necessary, copy or cut the images, then save them in the most popular format, JPG, preferably in a size no bigger than 500K (0.5MB). When you are done with the scanning you can either attach the images to an e-mail to us or upload them into our online application.

Professional assistance

If you do not have access to a scanner nor a digital camera, and are not experienced in uploading images, simply go to a digital center (we recommend FEDEX Kinko's for assistance in sending these three images). You will need to take with you your valid driver license, one passport style picture of yourself, and one piece of paper with your signature in it. Professionals will help you attach them to our e-mail address.This process is fast and economic.

Apply using our paper application in our office or by post

If you want the fastest method to process your international license, please, visit our office in North Miami. You can also apply by mail. Just send us the material by regular post office, but this last method will take a few more days due to the mailing time of the post office.
